According to the World Health Organisation in 2005, physical inactivity can contribute to a higher risk of 21.5 per cent Ischaemic heart disease, 11 per cent Ischaemic stroke, 14 per cent diabetes, 16 per cent colon cancer and 10 per cent breast cancer.
The message is clear, practise physical activities of up to 30 to 60 minutes per day everyday to control or reduce high blood pressure, to control cholesterol level, to reduce the risk of diabetes and coronary heart disease, as well as to reduce body weight.
